I have a video i wanna put on a disk and i have freeware but wen i burn it can't find the blank disk! help!!!

i made a christmas video that i wanna give to my family ive got the freeware that will let me burn it its called superdvd video editor and it really great but i put in the disk and it can't find it the disks anre brand new and theyre maxwell DVD+R RW 4.7gb up to 16x 2hours sp mode pleaz help
