Is it morally/ethically right to teach children that murder can be religiously justified?
Of course it isn't moral or ethical to teach that murder can be religiously justified. The issue is that christians have backed themselves into a corner by claiming that their god is perfectly good and that evil only comes from their anti-god Satan. Clearly the Old Testament has many instances of , murder, and genocide specifically ordered by god or performed by god himself. If god is always good then those actions must be good as well. Hence immoral acts when ordered by god become justifiable and murder for religious reasons is perfectly acceptable. Unfortunately this doctrine is not limited to a few aberrant churches. It appears to be endemic within christianity as a whole.
