Liberals hoped the president of Egypt would step down so the Egyptian government could convert to a democracy. If they're such big fans of democracy in dictatorship situations, why are they so against the Iraq war? On another note, why are liberals such cheerleaders for gay rights, but turn away at the torture happening to gays in the Middle East? Wouldn't it seem logical that liberals would be in favor of invading the Middle East to put a stop to gay torture and introduce democracy?
