Weird situation to be in...(sorry its pretty long)?

I wouldn't worry about it too much, people have to do what they have to do, and it's cool that your brother has talked to you and you are still friends with your mate. I would just give them some space and allow it to happen, you can't really stop people from liking each other. Hope you're OK.
