Guys, what do you do when girls cry in front of you?

I was just wondering. Is is too much? I'm watching About a Boy, and Hugh Grant told the mom to stop her crying. And she was like, oh yeah, guys can't handle it when things can't be fixed like objects. "Oh we need to figure this out etc etc". how do you feel about it though?
