How to retrieve recently deleted email?

I was in my email 2 days ago reviewing my inbox. All of a sudden all of my email disappeared, but I did not delete it manually. I thought perhaps yahoo was having email issues, so I waited it out a couple of days, but the emails did not reappear. How do I retrieve all of those emails, because there were some extremely important doents?
