Is a puma a predator /insectvore herbivore /fructivore or an omnivore?

The puma (Puma concolor), also known as the cougar, panther or mountain lion, is a carnivore. Its normal prey includes mule deer, white-tailed deer, and moose. Other prey depends on location. The Florida animals prefer feral hogs, and the Costa Rican cougar (P.c.costaricensis) will prefer small to midsize animals, like capybaras. Otherwise, most cougars prefer unglates.
